Smart Watcher — Describe a CS2 Skin, Get the Filter
Smart Watcher is the page in the CSWatcher app that builds marketplace filters for you. You describe what you want — by answering a few plain questions or by typing it — and it answers with filter cards already priced from what the app has measured.
More
It looks like a shop and is the opposite of one: nothing is sold here, every card watches a real marketplace on your behalf.
Two ways in
The questionnaire asks about budget, how fast the skin should sell, weapon types, what to hunt (deals, patterns, crafts) and which marketplaces. Each answer re-ranks the page instantly. The Which skins? bar takes a plain sentence instead: “ak redline ft”, “gants”, “перчатки”, “karmbit dopler rubi”, “awp asiimov ft on skinport”. It reads languages, typos, shorthands like “p2” or “t2”, and marketplace names, and it never forces a suggestion on you: Enter searches the words as typed, Tab takes the first suggestion.
What a single-item card holds
The item and its picture, the min. ceiling in green (the lowest band’s ceiling), a strip of float bands each showing its own ceiling, a float slider caged to the item’s wear, the tier lists the item really has, and the buttons: Price $? reads every band from the marketplace now, Preview Results judges live listings against the card and draws them on a chart you can drag, Watch runs it. A tier picked adds an amber row with the tier’s own ceiling and its own Price button.
Variations of one skin
Name one skin and it leads the page with its variations behind it: the other wears, and a card per tier list with that list already picked. Five cards at most for the skin, then the general pool, so you always see the neighbours of what you asked for.
Multi-item cards
A bundle is one filter with several trigger rules — three knives in Phase 2, a family of gloves. Each line is a picture with its wear and phase, its own price rule and its own float bracket and tier picks. On CSFloat a multi-item filter watches the newest listings of the whole market and lets the trigger rules do the matching.
The replay and the diary
Every read the app makes writes one line per float band per day into a shared diary. The 30d button on a card replays that diary against the card’s ceilings and shows, band by band, the share of observed days on which the lowest listing sat under your ceiling — without sending a request. It appears only when the item has observations.
Watching
Press Watch and the filter lands on the marketplace’s sniping page, switched on. Triggers reach you as Discord messages with the listing linked. Where CSWatcher can buy through your own session, Auto-Buy completes the purchase once you arm it with a typed confirmation and a spend ceiling. Watching more than one marketplace is one click per card; a marketplace named in the search builds the cards for it directly.
What is Smart Watcher?
A page in the CSWatcher app that builds marketplace filters for you. You answer a few plain questions or type what you want, and it hands back single-item and multi-item filter cards already priced from what the app has measured.
More
One click watches a card on the marketplace you chose.
Is Smart Watcher a marketplace?
No. Nothing is sold on it. Every card is a filter that watches a real marketplace and alerts you, or buys for you where CSWatcher can, when a matching listing appears.
Do I have to pick a suggestion from the search bar?
No. Press Enter and the words you typed are searched as they are, typos and other languages included. Tab takes the first suggestion if you want it.
What does the 30d button on a card do?
It replays the last thirty days of pooled price observations for that item against the card's ceilings, without sending a single request, so you see how often the filter would have fired. It only appears once the item has observations.
