By creating an account you agree to CSWatcher's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Refund & Cancellation Policy, and you confirm you are at least 18.
Every colour on CSWatcher means one thing, and always comes with a word.
Search, or pick a topic. Every answer is short.
Grouped by topic. Open one, or search above.
Create your account, open the app.
Create an account, add the free CSFloat Bridge extension, open CSWatcher in a tab, sign in, and start watching. The in-app setup guide covers the rest, step by step, with nothing to configure by hand.
Press Sign in through Steam, or sign up with your email and a password. It is free for ever and needs no card.
Confirm your email and your 24 free hours of Sniper start: Auto-Buy, unlimited filters and Turbo pace. A friend's referral code, if you have one, goes in the sign-up form.
An account, a browser, and the free companion extension. There is nothing to install on your machine beyond that, no configuration files, and nothing to keep updated by hand.
If you can use the site you can use the product.
CSWatcher runs in a browser tab on Windows, macOS or Linux, in Chrome or Edge. Add the free Bridge extension, then open CSWatcher from your panel.
The first time in, link Steam and Discord: one click each, both required. Keep the CSWatcher tab open while the engine runs.
The one thing you install: free for Chrome, Edge, Brave and Opera. It carries each request through your own browser, on your own connection.
It holds no password and no licence key, it buys only where you turned Auto-Buy on, and it stops the moment you close the CSWatcher tab.
Most people begin with alerts only. It costs nothing, it tells you quickly whether the rules you have written are any good, and it builds the judgement you need before letting anything act on its own.
Automating comes later, once you have watched your own rules behave for a while and trust them.
For watching, yes — something has to be doing it. Standing buy orders are the exception and can fill while you are away.
What it watches, where alerts go, why a filter is quiet.
Three things, and you can use any of them on their own. It watches the marketplaces it supports and tells you when something matches what you asked for.
It can complete purchases on CSFloat for you hands-free, so a deal does not depend on your reaction time. And it can keep standing buy orders in place and list items you already own for sale, so the selling side is handled in the same place as the buying.
As a Discord direct message, with the numbers and a link straight to the listing. Linking Discord from your panel also adds you to the CSWatcher server.
The app opens once your Discord and your Steam are both linked.
Filters are created switched off. A filter scans only once you arm it (one at a time on Spectator, as many as you like on a Sniper pass) and only while your CSWatcher tab is open and the engine is running.
How often each marketplace comes round again. Spectator runs at Chill; every pass runs at Turbo, each marketplace's fastest safe pace.
No plan goes faster than a marketplace tolerates. More on the pricing page.
A tier list names a handful of paint seeds, so most listings of that skin are ruled out by design. Run the filter without the tier for a day to see what it reads, then add the tier back.
The tier lists show which seeds each tier holds.
Turning it on, where it buys, stopping it.
Nothing watches, buys or lists until you deliberately turn it on. That is the default rather than a setting you have to find, and it means an account you have just created cannot do anything you did not ask for.
When you do enable something that spends money, you set the limits it works inside, and you can stop it immediately at any point.
Auto-Buy is turned on by hand and confirmed by typing ARM. It then buys only inside the spend ceiling you set, and it never buys on the very first scan of a newly armed filter, so a mistyped rule cannot fire the instant you arm it.
Seven of the ten are Auto-Buy: CSFloat, Steam, Tradeit.gg, DMarket, LIS-Skins, BUFF Market and Skinport. CSBoard, BUFF163 and Skins.com are Alert only: nothing can be bought there, you get the link and buy it yourself. See every marketplace.
Everything runs under your own account and your own connection. Your rules are yours, and what you choose to watch is not shared with anyone.
You can turn any part of it off and it stops.
There is a single control that halts all activity immediately. It is deliberately easy to find.
Only one session runs the engine at a time. If sniping is already running somewhere else, a new tab pauses itself and offers to take over, so two tabs can never buy the same listing twice.
Spectator, Sniper pass, Desk add-on, the free day, refunds.
Yes. Spectator is free for ever and it is a real plan, not a countdown — and every new account also starts with 24 hours of Sniper, no card needed, so you see the buying side too.
| Plan | Price | What it adds |
|---|---|---|
| Spectator | Free | Every scanning tool, alerts with a link, 1 armed filter at Chill pace, Live catches 5 minutes late |
| Sniper pass | $7 · $19 · $45 | 7, 30 or 90 days: Auto-Buy, unlimited armed filters, Turbo pace, standing buy orders |
| Desk add-on | +$12 · +$29 · +$69 | Auto-Update buy orders, Smart Order Focus, bulk listing and repricing; rides on a Sniper pass |
Paid once. Passes add up, and nothing renews on its own. Pricing
Every new account starts with 24 hours of Sniper, no card needed. The hours start when you confirm your email.
After them you stay on Spectator, free for ever, and nothing is charged.
The honest way to choose is by how you intend to use it rather than by feature count. If you are watching a handful of items and reacting yourself, Spectator — the free plan — is genuinely the right answer and there is no reason to spend.
If you want purchases completed without you, or more than one filter armed at once, that is what a Sniper pass is for: paid once, for 7, 30 or 90 days, and passes add up. Start free and buy a pass when something you actually want is out of reach — not before.
A pass is paid once, runs for its days and ends on its own, so there is nothing to cancel. Pass fees are generally non-refundable except where the law says otherwise; if you were charged in error or the service was materially unavailable, write to us within 14 days and we review it in good faith.
Marketplace purchases and fees are not refunded. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Every account has a referral link in your panel. When a friend signs up on it and buys their first pass, you get 7 free days of that pass, on top of what you already hold.
Plain fixes, and where to ask.
Check the live status first, because an outage on a marketplace looks identical to a fault at your end. If the status is clean, the fastest route to an answer is a ticket in Discord with what you expected and what happened instead.
Most reports resolve in one exchange when that sentence is included, and in four or five when it is not.
The team and the community are in Discord — the fastest way to get a real answer, and where new features are announced first.
Nothing matches that. or ask on Discord.
What you see, why it happens, and the fix.
| You see | Why | Fix | Answer |
|---|---|---|---|
| The app asks you to link Steam and Discord | It opens only once both are linked and you are in the CSWatcher server | Link both from your panel, one click each | How to fix it |
| A new filter never alerts | Filters are created off, and only armed filters scan | Arm it in the app and keep the tab open | How to fix it |
| A tier filter finds almost nothing | A tier names a few paint seeds, so most listings are ruled out | Run it without the tier for a day | How to fix it |
| The engine paused in this tab | It is already running in another session | Take over here, or stop the other one | How to fix it |
| Nothing was caught while the computer was off | The engine runs while your CSWatcher tab is open | Keep the tab open; buy orders are the exception | How to fix it |
| Steam listings show no float | Steam shows float and paint seed only to a signed-in session | Stay signed in to Steam in the same browser | How to fix it |
| Something else looks wrong | A marketplace outage looks like a fault at your end | Check status, then ask on Discord | How to fix it |
No problem matches that. Ask on Discord.
